cctv firefoxMy website displays correctly in Firefox but not IE 8.?

If you look at my right hand navigation in Firefox my rollover images are visible and the column widths are large enough to accommodate the text links on one line. However in IE8 my right hand navigation does not display the rollover images and my column widths are too small. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

What are you doing wrong? You're expecting that IE8 actually works. :)
IE8 is very bad at supporting web standards, so it is not unusual that it displays a website the wrong way.
You have 3 optionscctv firefox:
- design the website using IE-specific code, which may break all other browser which instead follow the web standards
- design each page 2 ways (one for IE8, one for all other browsers), and use the browserID field to use one or the other, depending on the browser
- stick to the web standard and hope that IE9 will be better. Maybe you can also drop a line in the website telling the user to switch to a real browser.
Just to let you know. I looked at your site with IE 8 (8.0.6001.18702) and it loaded fine. I'm using the US version of IE and Windows XP sp3.
They both work cctv firefoxand look exactly the same to me. Perhaps you have some sort of image or ad blocker installed for IE8 that it is conflicting with, or maybe try making sure there isn't an update for IE8 which you need.

When you said about the column widths are small, that is probably just down to the fact that websites sometimes render differently in other browsers.

Tested in Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 2 and Internet Explorer 8
The Scripting for this is for firefox only!

sorry but you will need to change the scripting of this!
