when installing windows 7 and its done, it have a free anti-virus and it's Windows Defender i'm i right ? and when updating windows update theres a new recommended anti-virus it's Microsoft Security Essentials now did they conflict ? what should i do ? do i should turnmicrosoft free anti virus off the other one ? or live them both turn on ?
MSE replaces Defender, and disables it automatically.
If you install Microsoft Security Essentials, it will automatically disable Windows Defender. You won't have to do a thing. MSE is a more complete security system thanmicrosoft free anti virus Windows Defender.
No.. there will not be a conflict .. MSE is a freeware from microsoft.. MS defender is an inbuilt software in OS..
MSE disables Defender. Leave Defender off.
Windows Defender is built in, and they most definately do not conflict. :)
