Personally, I think there were quite a few good songs out this year but music is getting worse as the years go on. I'm 13 but I like songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s as well as modern music. I know this is not the case for most people my age though. I also like the Beatles :) To be honest, I dislike rap music a lot. It also bugs me when a singer brings out a good song and then there is a rap verse right in the middle of it, ha ha. Anyway, here's my list :

1. Telephone - Lady Gaga was really big this year, and this song, as irritating as it is, was really catchy.

3. OMG - Usher, heard it everywhere
4. California Girls - Katy Perry, probably the biggest song this summer
5. Giving up the Gun - Vampire Weekend
6. Power - Kanye West, the song was eerie, creepy, and perfect. The video gave me chills.
