everytime i connect my zune to my computer my zune charges up normaly but everytime i cant get a connection i tried doing the search for connected devices but it wont read my zune.

Have you checked for driver updates?
If the driver updates don't work. I had the same problems. My USB ports on the front of my computer were not letting my zune connect. I moved it to the back zuneof my computer and I haven't had a problem since. Try a different USB port or 2.
try right clicking when you plug your zune into the xcomputer and seeing if it says new found hardware !
the older zune sync cables suck! purchase the new sync cable and it will connect if your issue was the cable zune

You should just in cnase check both of them out
same problem a few minutes ago. what i did is i restart the computer and the zune (hold back button at the same time with up button for 2-5sec) connect it again and whALA prob solved :)
